This is a find from last year. Found in a grove of seedlings near Pine Flat lake. The shape and color is very reminiscent of Black Madeira. I only got to try one fig from this tree as it’s very inaccessible.  It had a very strong and tart berry flavor. I passed out some cuttings last year to people outside of wasp land . As of now we do not know if it’s common. One cutting like the pic.
