🌱 WHEN YOUR PLANT ARRIVES

Unpack your plant immediately. Remove it carefully from the packaging and check the soil/root plug. Some leaf bending or cosmetic damage during shipping is completely normal.

Water if needed. If the root plug feels dry, water thoroughly. Keep the soil evenly moist but not soaking wet.

DO NOT PUT IT DIRECTLY INTO FULL SUN. Your young banana has been grown under protected nursery conditions. Start it in bright shade or filtered sunlight and gradually introduce it to stronger sunlight over approximately 7–14 days. Putting a young plant directly into intense outdoor sun can cause severe leaf burn.

Pot it up. Transplant the entire root plug into a small container using a quality, well-draining potting mix. Avoid putting a tiny starter directly into an excessively large pot. Increase container size as the root system develops.

Keep it warm. Bananas thrive in warm temperatures. Protect your young plant from frost, freezing temperatures and cold winds.

Fertilize after establishment. Once the plant has adjusted to its new container and begins pushing healthy new growth, you can begin regular feeding. Bananas are heavy feeders during active growth.

IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION

You are purchasing a young rooted starter plant, NOT a mature banana tree. Please look at the photos carefully for an example of the approximate size you will receive. Individual plants will naturally vary in height and number of leaves.

Banana leaves are extremely tender. Leaves may arrive with tears, bends, brown edges or other cosmetic shipping damage. This is normal and does not affect the plant’s ability to grow.

The established root system and growing point are what matter. Once transplanted and established, your small Raja Puri can quickly begin producing beautiful new growth.

Small plant now — impressive dwarf banana later!
