Description
Summer Foliage Disclaimer
Our fig trees are grown outdoors under real world conditions, not in a controlled indoor grow room. During the heat of summer, it is completely normal for leaves to show cosmetic blemishes from environmental stress, fig bud mites, or mild expression of Fig Mosaic Virus (FMV). These issues are extremely common in outdoor grown fig trees and do not mean the plant is unhealthy.
Our focus is on growing strong, healthy, well rooted trees rather than producing flawless foliage. New growth often emerges much cleaner as the tree continues to grow and conditions improve.
If you are expecting perfect, blemish-free leaves in the middle of summer, our outdoor-grown trees may not meet those expectations. Cosmetic leaf imperfections are a normal part of growing figs outside, especially during periods of extreme heat. We believe healthy roots and vigorous growth are far more important than temporary leaf appearance.
