White Jordanian Byadi Fig Tree – Live Rooted Plant

From Moe Ruston.

“I can attest to this variety being a top tier! My favorite honey fig!

My Lebanese father originally sourced it from a Jordanian immigrant many many decades ago. The mother tree came directly from Amman Jordan where it’s a well known variety. I’ve met the guy that originally brought it to DFW area (he has since passed). He says in Jordan it produces a breba with mild pink interior and then the main crop is pure amber honey. My dad has had his tree in ground in North Texas for over 15 years now and I grew up eating from this tree. It’s very cold hardy once established. We don’t typically get breba off it but the main crop is incredible! It literally tastes like honey on the inside”.
