The Black Algiers fig is a vigorous, productive variety known for its rich berry flavor and dark, beautiful skin. This variety produces medium-to-large figs with a sweet, jammy interior and excellent depth of flavor. Highly adaptable, it grows well in a range of climates and is well-suited for both container growing and in-ground planting.

Care & Rooting Tips:
For best results, use the “set it and forget it” direct potting method:
Pot the cutting in well-draining soil.
Place a clear plastic bag over the pot to create a mini greenhouse.
Keep in bright, indirect light (shade if outdoors).
Keep soil slightly moist but not soggy.
Rooting time varies but generally takes a few weeks to a couple of months depending on conditions.
