I know many collectors waiting for this one. Well here it is. One of the most beautiful figs to date. The colors are phenomenal and I can see why it is a rare variety from Algeria. The flavor is very unique as I get all kinds of different tastes. The pulp is sticky and dense. The skin is soft and the eye is closed. The fig is around 40 grams. Thank you to my Bay Area Algerian friend for this treasure. “Tavout Jabout”. Keep in mind it requires the fig wasp as it is a Smyrna. The fig wasp is only in California. Produces one large crop. You will get the one cutting.
