Black Russian Gnome is an introduction from Vlad in Russia. It’s very small tree and grows slow. I think this may be a true dwarf. It has a sprawling type form and stays low to the ground. The brebas and delicious and plentiful. The main crop is heavy and would be considered extremely productive for its size. The flavor can vary from sweet to acidic. Figs are medium in size. Definitely a berry flavor but not rich. The figs are also different shapes . This fig is totally opposite of the others. Very peculiar variety . May be a good one for cold zones due to the early ripening. Common fig does not require pollination.
