Big Daddy is a new variety that is sweet tasting very huge! These are some of the largest berries we’ve seen. Great for fresh eating but also hold up well when frozen or made into jams. The plant is a vigorous thornless variety that produces a large crop on Floricane from Mid-Summer to Fall. The plant’s semi-erect to erect growing pattern will need to be trellised. This is a heavy producing excellent flavored blackberry. As a self-fertile specimen one plant can produce 8-13 pounds of fruit each growing season. Big Daddy Thornless Blackberry does not suffer from significant pest or disease problems. These winter-hardy shrubs grow well in zones 5-9. You will receive two plants like the second and third picture.  They will be ready to be planted upon arrival. 2 starter plants rooted and healthy.
