Description
Exquisito fig is a California fig seedling discovered in Northern California. It bears two crops and sometimes 3. It is mid season but the breba is early and worth it alone just for that. It’s a honey sugar fig with collectors tasting all kinds of tropical flavors. Me personally, my pallet is not that sophisticated so to me it taste like a fig, but really sweet. It has a reddish purple skin and it’s really productive. It does not make a large tree. Mine stays about 6 foot and I’ve had it for about five years. I would say zone 7 to 10 on this one. These trees are waking up from dormancy and are about 2 foot tall. Some even fruited last year.
